Mercure Philippeville, Philippeville · Bélgica

Concept for a Mercure-branded hotel in Philippeville, in the Belgian Ardennes. The proposal replaces the single-building model with a cluster of villas spread across the plot, giving each guest a domestic-feeling stay with garden, terrace and privacy.

The architecture combines warm materials —timber, local stone and pitched roofs— with a well-insulated envelope tuned to the Central European climate. A heated pool as the centrepiece of the shared program extends the summer season and keeps the resort active year-round.
