San Miguel

Full refurbishment of a traditional home in the old town of Altea. The intervention preserves and restores the original elements —wooden joinery and lime walls— while redrawing the interior to gain light, cross-ventilation and new relationships between rooms.

A contemporary program is inserted with restraint, updating services, thermal comfort and uses without renouncing the memory of the place. A current home contained within its historic footprint.
