Villa Oltamar

Refurbishment and extension of a 1970s house on the Oltà hillside, oriented towards the Peñón de Ifach. Of the original —round arches and closed rooms with their back to the landscape— little survives beyond its footprint: the section now breaks open to the view, with a ground floor resting on the rock and a lighter upper volume that frames the Mediterranean through long bands of glazing.

The infinity pool stretches the horizon until it merges with the sea, while stepped terraces soften the slope and multiply the vantage points. A house conceived as a lookout, where each room finds its own frame of the landscape.
