A new-build home on the slopes of Puig Campana, in Finestrat. The house settles into an arid, luminous landscape —the 'desert by the sea'— and dialogues at once with the dramatic silhouette of the mountain at its back and the Mediterranean horizon at its front.

The volumes step down with the slope and large openings frame the two readings of the site: rock and water. Sheltered courtyards and a long pool extend daily life outdoors, tempering the intense south light in a serene, almost mineral architecture.

The terrace is laid out around the pool, with the upper-floor cantilever shading the window. The valley and the mountains lie beyond the glass balustrade.
